Aberdeen Wholesale Fish Market and Aberdeen Promenade

Normally, the Fish Market is not open to public, but tourists may see
part of its operations from its entrance at the Aberdeen Promenade
(take the time to experience the hustle and bustle of the market at its
peak before 11:00 a.m.).  Moreover, they can stop at the Souvenir
Shop inside the Fish Market to buy unique souvenirs or fish products.
The opening hours of the Souvenir Shop are as follows:

Mondays to Fridays: 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
Saturdays and Sundays: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Closed every Thursday and public holidays

Also, stationary vessels for seafood processing berth on the western
shore of Aberdeen Promenade.

If time allows, tourists may arrange a sampan cruise for 30 minutes
or one hour to appreciate the living culture of the fishermen in the
typhoon shelter at a short distance.

Visit to Ap Lei Chau and Enjoy Seafood Lunch

Tourists may take a walk along the Ap Lei Chau Promenade to enjoy
the scenic typhoon shelter.  Then they may visit the Ap Lei Chau Main
Street and buy local seafood products such as sun-dried shrimps, fish
maws and so on.

Tourists may buy seafood at Ap Lei Chau Market (in Ap Lei Chau
Municipal Services Building) and send them to the restaurants on the
1st floor for cooking; or just enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants at the
Ap Lei Chau Main Street.

After lunch, tourists may take a stroll along the Ap Lei Chau Promenade
and Wind Tower Park.

Repulse Bay is a famous beach in Hong Kong.  Part of the cremains
of Xiao Hong was buried near the Sea View Building.

Apart from a walk on the beautiful beach, tourists may visit the Cheng
Hoi Lau Park at the other end of the beach and take some photos.

The Repulse Bay Hong Kong (Eileen Chang)

The Repulse Bay Hong Kong is built on the same site of the renowned
Repulse Bay Hotel.  This site is also the main scene of Eileen Chang’s
masterpiece Love in a Fallen City.  With a unique appearance in
European style, The Repulse Bay commands a fantastic natural landscape
of the beach of the Repulse Bay.  Apart from shops, restaurants and
banqueting venues, tourists can also explore its historical background
through a series of exhibits in the Historical Gallery located inside the
arcade.
